Collect emissions data

About this use case

Gardenia connects to your data sources and pulls emissions data automatically - so you have current numbers when you need them, without the manual collection work.

What you can do:

  • Use pre-built connectors - Connect Gardenia to your ERP, procurement, travel, and energy management systems through a simple authentication flow
  • Use custom-built connectors - Gardenia builds custom connectors for new data sources unique to your business
  • Track emissions over time - See emissions month-by-month and year-by-year, not just annual snapshots
  • Analyse by scope and category - Break down emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3 categories (event travel, supply chain, purchased goods, business travel)
  • Report when needed - Have data ready for annual reports, SBTi submissions, investor requests, or internal reviews without scrambling to collect it

Why it matters:

Annual carbon accounting means doing the work once a year in a concentrated burst: chasing down data, consolidating spreadsheets, calculating emissions. If you need updated numbers in Q3, you're out of luck - the data isn't there.

Continuous data collection inverts this. The initial setup takes work (connecting systems, mapping data), but after that, updates are automatic. Your Q2 numbers are already calculated. Your annual report mostly writes itself. When investors ask about current emissions, you have an answer.
